My countdown to my debut novel’s release and a chronicle of my attempt to not go stir crazy while waiting.
(I post here on Mondays and Fridays. See you then!)
Hi, Campers! Glad you could make it to our field trip today! I'm in Singapore for a quick getaway and I'm taking you with me. Follow the red umbrella to see some initial glimpses of this awesome place.
I'll post more photos when I get back from the trip next week. See you then! :)
I wouldn't be Singapore without the orchid! Though of course what never comes across in photos is how sultry and humid the air is in Singapore (my family lived there for four years). Have a great time, and don't over-do the satay and Tiger Beer!
V. -Thanks! :) My hubby took that shot. MumuGB - Took more today. Will share soon! Deborah - Haha! Humid is right! Satay and TIger Beer - okay, now I know what I'm having for dinner! :) OCMom - Scouring the streets for the perfect OC pic! (And speaking of OC, I'm hitting myself on the head for the HUGE typo I had on the title today. Just fixed it now, but I'm wincing at the thought that I posted "Greetings FOR Singapore." Ugh.)
Oh wow. I'm so envious! I've never been to a place like Singapore before. It looks amazing!!! Is this your first time going? What's your favorite thing been so far?
Christina - I used to come here a lot when for my regional marketing job, but as a tourist, my family and I swing my every two years or so. My fave experience is always the food - Hainanese Chicken Rice and Chili Crabs! YUM.
Janel - Haha! Thanks! You will probably find it ironic then that the first thing the kids wanted to do was to visit the SNOW park. LOL
Catherine - Thanks! :)
Scrollwork - I wish I could take the credit, but most of the pics are the hubby's handiwork. It's a point and shoot system - I point, he shoots. LOL.
I love Singapore. I'd go back in a heartbeat. So much to see and do and there's little better on a muggy afternoon than a Singapore Sling in the Long Bar at Raffles. Gorgeous photos. I can't wait to see more!
