Blog, meet world. World, meet Blog.

Those who know me personally are most likely rushing to their windows in sheer panic to check for falling toads or fish or whatever unfortunate creature is supposed to rain from the sky to herald the apocalypse. Those who don’t know me should probably do a quick check too. Really. I mean it. Do it now. I’ll wait.

Did you go? No frogs? Guppies? Good. Check again in five minutes. I started a blog - the end is near. I'm sorry. I just couldn't think of any other way to keep myself sane while waiting for BEFORE EVER AFTER to be released into the wild. It's selfish, I know. Hopefully, I can make it up to you by keeping you sufficiently entertained as I take you along this crazy-fun journey I'm now on. (After a decade of navigating the Marketing industry, then making a sharp left at the corner of motherhood and the gourmet ice cream business, I, more than anyone else, am surprised by the latest turn my life has taken.) So relax, enjoy the detour, and follow the slightly disheveled guide with the red umbrella.

Good luck fellow traveler. The universe seems to favor those who dare and take the road less traveled.Differences in time and space hardly matter these days.

Welcome to the blogging world! A red umbrella also reminds me of Citibank so it bodes riches and placements for the future!

Welcomt to blogging! I say "welcome" even though I don't have one yet. That may be the real dawn of the apocalypse. :) Congratulations on impending book release!

Hey, lady!

Look at you with your shiny new blog. Can. Not. Wait. To get my hands on BEFORE EVER AFTER.

Yippee! No wonder the blog sounded familiar! And that explains your absence from FB for a bit. Hard at work, with stellar results, as always. Thanks for taking us along! I know how much trembling in your boots you had to overcome for this.

I don't know you and I started my blog about 2 years ago. The world is still here.:) I like your photo very much and I also like the idea of a countdown to publishing your book. I am also waiting to publish my book, an e-book that will be out in September. I like your countdown clock and may steal the idea for my own blog.:)

Hi Samantha, I'm so happy to have found your blog. I've been absent from She Writes lately. Having trouble keeping up with all the social networking sites at the same time finding out what stuff I want to write about. I'm looking forward to reading more about your writing journey here. :) Will your book be available in the Philippines?

Hi, Kathy! Great to see you here! I definitely know what you mean about feeling overwhelmed by the Internet. It's a constant challenge to balance staying plugged-in and working on my second novel. As for my first novel - my editor says that it should be available in the Philippines around the same time as the US (but she still needs to confirm this.) Btw, it's already available on Amazon for pre-order. Hope to see you around! :)

So happy to find your blog. I've yet to get the courage and time to start one. Congratulations on your book! Can't wait to read your novel.
